Have now been the proud owner for 12 month's. Originally purchased as a toy but after a while
realised how brilliant these little car's are. So had to splash some TLC.....

Damage to both front corners repaired. Check.

4 x new tyres. Check.

20mm Spacers to the rear. Check.

Hood tonneau found and purchased. Check.

New Thermostat and sensor. Check.

4 x New Shock absorbers. Check.

Diff & Gearbox oil changed. Check.

MOT booked 15th this month, expecting to sail through. Once that's out the way
i have the urge to continue splashing out the TLC.

What next ? Would a 1.9 E36 benefit from an air induction kit ?

Need to do something about that blocked off front spoiler, a mesh arrangement ? Maybe ?

Oh and attend more Zroadster events :)

Thank you little Z 3. Has and is a real joy

If I haven't said before (think you've posted a couple of these before this year - might be wrong though) save pics 2 and 4 to put forward for the calendar
Both are powerful Z3 images.

Glad you are getting so much joy out of your car.

Just keep in mind the blocked off spoiler was like that for a reason, good idea about dressing it up though, I think Zunsport do a grill that sits in front of the black plastic.

Yes the section in the lower bumper has a solid piece of black plastic in there on 1.9 models mine is the same.
Mine is open. I assumed they all were, but I just looked on realoem and it looks like aircon cars have the open front, and non-aircon cars have the closed panel. There is absolutely no reason why removing the panel would cause problems..

My wife noticed the lack of a lower grill (under number plate) on our recently purchased 1.9 1997. Appear to be five vertical stats only. Rest of car appears original so would be surprised if a grill has gone AWOL. Car has aircon so is below correct? The horizontal bar you can just see is part of the steering cooler pipe.

Could do with something for mine, had a rabbit go through there a while back. The joy of country living. The rabbit survived the impact, it was the dogs back at the stables that finished the poor little bu88er off.

I believe the non aircon cars had this blanked off as it was too much cooling and they would struggle to get to temp in cooler weather whereas an aircon car needs more air flow through the condenser.
