So a vague question for starters....

I've got a 2.2i Sport Roadster in Estoril Blue with matching hardtop. It was fitted on the car when I purchased it and the brackets are still fitted to the car together with the heated rear window switch etc

I've since removed for the summer and it's stored in my garage, question is whats it worth? And once it's removed what replaces the rear window switch?

I did have an offer of £500 but I've not had chance to see if this was a fair offer or not and at that point I was still using it!

Any thoughts or help will be much appreciated!

£500 is about right for the top its self, then £3-400 for the brackets, you can get a blank for the switch

That's good news! Whats best, simply photograph the hardtop and ask for the new buyer to remove the brackets themselves on collection?
Or is there a meet coming up where I could bring the car along and sell it there and then?

You could put it in the for sale section on here and see how it goes

I agree £500 is very reasonable for the top itself. However I'd want the top end of Sean's £300-£400 for the fitting kit when sold separately, maybe a little more - especially if it's a full kit with tool, bumpers, heated switch.

Sold together as one lot £800-£850 is around the going rate. Prices are also seasonal. Maybe a little more than that in early summer.

So if I said say £750 all in but buyer has to take the brackets off themselves that would be a fair price? ( the edge of the hardtop beneath the rear window is chipped along the edge)

I agree, but if the HT requires some paint it's probably top end of price (at this time of year).
