Z3 Hardtop for auction.

Don't know if there is a right or wrong way but we store our E36 convertible hard top that way (as picture). The real weight is on the rear, largely caused by the glass screen.
 
One sold on eBay last week for about £520 with no reserve , someone got a bargain or maybe there’s a dwindling market as less Z’s on the road?
 
That's definitely on the stand the wrong way round.
Stands curved and padded appropriately for the other way and the strap goes inside the roof not across the paintwork roof !
The top arms are digging into the roof lining there too..

i thought exactly that, but that picture did raise a thought though...
 
Every time I think about getting a hard top for mine I remember that I never drive it without the top down. Also, wrong continent for me.....

I can answer that question as that z3 owner was me :D

If you dismantle it yes the 2 big bits will fit in the boot but they need to be first thing in .
