There's a Weisseman hard top and fittings for sale on FB Z3 Roadster site. In silver. On sale in Holland for €800. Sure somebody was looking for one on here?

That's about $950 dollars US. Do you gentlemen know what a BMW top resells for in your area? Here in the US, it can be $1000 to $1800 or so at times depending on condition. They are hard to get here sometimes.

I've seen genuine ones on ebay for just under £1000.

BMW dealership valued mine at £1500 last June as it sat in a storage for 13 years in its bag.

I didn't use mine last winter so I'll see what happens this winter and if I don't use it again I might offer it to others on here.

might even sell it twice=))

Hmm, no, don't know the bloke but that is not a bad price.
Had to laugh though, "comes with a special screwdriver" its just a Torx.
He is right though about fitting, if you have a gas strut for your roof, you will have problems with the fitting kit, as I found out with @David

Yep, although he says it just the electric roof. It is not... It is any roof with a strut (any z3 post-96).
I've yet to look at mine as its summer, but fabricating a bracket the fits shouldn't be too difficult.

I agree with @Rudyrov in NA prices for good tops are way more than in UK and Europe I think due to the fact that in warm southern states they weren't needed and northern states and Canada for the most part they get used so seldom come up for sale. The HT's were the first on my list to buy after purchasing my two z3's in UK and I was able to buy the first for £250 plus delivery but no fittings and the second for £600 included fittings. The tops themselves are a bargin it's the fitting kits that sell for big money. JIM

I paid a total of about $2500 for my top, mounting kit and paint to make it match the car. I love the top for winter use, here in Washington State USA that's about 6~7 moths of cold and rain, maybe more.
