Z3 Fuel Rail Delivery Help Please

Morning,

Have recently changed the whole fuel supply system on my 1.9 Z3, now has fuel lines running through the inside of the car (Race Car) and the final stage is to do some Aeroquip hoses into the engine.

Can anyone please tell me which fuel input in the below photo is delivery, and which is return?
I can't find the answer anywhere so hoping someone here will know??

Can't remember from when I did mine but realoem diagram may help - also a bit fiddly but you could follow lines through from fuel filter

Lower circle (2) is the delivery and upper circle (1) return.

The threaded union is the give away as it supplies the fuel under pressure.

I was about to say the same you can tell as the high pressure is a straight in union fit whereas the lower pressure return has the rubber hose with hose clamps attached.

yes the one with a hose will be return, as that is not pressurised, but the delivery is.
