Hi All I SOLVED THE ISSUE BY EXPERIMENTING ON THE OLD DOOR
SEE AT BOTTOM OF PAGE
Just replaced my drivers door because it had a few small dents in it.
I replace it with one in excellent condition an the same colour.
I removed the window guide to allow access to door handle for me to replace with my existing lock.
But now I am finding it difficult to refit the window guide, any ideas or tips would be appreciated
I replaced a door actuator years ago and I can’t remember having this problem
Norm
I MARKED THE WINDOW STOP ADJUSTER SCREW WITH A BLACK MARKER SEE PICTURE THEN UNWOUND THE SCREW TEN REVOLUTIONS THIS ENABLED THE WINDOW TO BE RAISED BY APROX 1cm THIS WAS ENOUGH TO FIT THE WINDOW GUIDE. THEN I PUT SOME SCREW LOCK ON THE SCREW AND REWOUND IT IN TEN TIMES. PROBLEM SOLVED
