My rev counters sometimes doesn't work. Usually kicks in 10 or 15 minutes after starting a journey.

If you get EEP_2 you may also find that the fuel gauge, rev counter, odometer, and temperature gauge don't work but the speedo does. Eventually you'll probably need a replacement coding plug as I did.

Got this issue on the Imola M I'm rebuilding, temp, fuel works but don,t fully register, rev wont work, speed is fine, I'm not getting any code up. Last time it went iffy all was well when it was started then went Pete Tong, fuel and temp readings dropped and rev counter stopped working.
To be fair I haven't got around to checking the fuses or had the binnacle out yet but what is the coding plug? Any info would be appreaciated

The coding plug is plugged in to the rear of the instrument cluster. I bought a used one and had the mileage corrected to my MoT records.
