Morning everyone.

After spending many many years driving around in 320s ( my latest 320D M Sport is my pride and joy!) I (with my partner) decided to splash out on a Z3 'just for the summer'.....Its a 97 1.9 in worryingly good condition and it is just the best fun I've had in a car, so much so that I now realise what I need is a Z3M but I'm not sure how I can get that past the internal audit authority :)
Already I've fixed a jammed electric seat adjuster and a blocked washer check valve (hardly massive engineering tasks for an aircraft engineer but nice bits of 'tinkering'), next on the to do list is the infamous seat sliding under braking/acceleration. I've got the new bushes from the States but I cant see me having time to fit them until the winter because we're always out in the car!

Anyway, thanks for letting me in.
Welcome Kevster. I just went through the same thing. Had a '96 1.9 and just bought a 2000 3///M Z. What a car!!!!! Frankie
