Due to medical reasons I have to SORN my Z3 over the winter. At the moment I have a half cover for the car but I think it would be better if I fitted a full cover as I do not have a garage and the car will be left on the drive. Can anyone advise me as to the best Z3 fitted outdoor cover without costing an absolute fortune. Many thanks.

Have a look at stormforce car covers they make one for the z3 .
Like you I keep my car on the drive over winter and use one of the stormforce covers for the full car and it seems to do the job very well. I have been using it for just over 2 years now and am very pleased with it. I also pop a unibond 360 Aero moisture absorber/dehumidifier (available on Amazon for about £10) in the cabin before I put the cover on and that sees the car through a British winter.

Thanks for that the dehumidifier is a great idea I would never have thought of that. Many thanks again

A cost effective way of keeping a car dry inside is to buy some long grain rice and tip it into a pair of tights or stockings and leave them in the car. IF it gets really damp you can dry the rice and use it over and over again. It’s amazing how much moisture it draws from the surroundings.

Tony.

Thanks Tony, sounds a good plan. I am still deciding which cover to go for there seem to be so many
