Hi proud owner of my second z3,1.9 ,the previous owner didn't drive it much..I've done about 1200 miles in the last 3 months.and my front calipers are binding... should I replace them ? Is this a common problem when not used much

Very common issue on the Z3. Same for mine. Can either get new cheapish calipers or send yours off for refurb. By not addressing this you will find more issues further down the line. Cooked brakes, cooked alloy wheel, cooked tyres etc

Good luck.

:welcome: to the Forum from West Cumbria. Same as any car that's been stood still a while, you can get seal kits and rebuild the calipers or just go new. Worthwhile checking the discs too as they may be warped. Pads too obviously
