Z3 Cabin Air FIlter?

Doesn't have one, none of them do
Just found this thread --- having spend ages looking for the cabin filter !!!!! Is it correct, there is no cabin filter in a Z3? Not even the later models?
Oh...well that's an hour of my live I'm not getting back

Out of curiosity, where's the wire mesh????

Turn ignition to 1st click, rotate the blower control to max pop the bonnet and the noise will guide you.

The fact that they don't have one helped me weed out a shop that was insistent that I needed mine changed - and submitted it as a part of an estimate of work they thought needed to be done.

Why not? They all have full 'climate control' these days.

Yeah, but. Surely if you want "climate control" in a convertible you're kind of missing the point? Can't find the cabin filter on any of my motorcycles, either. And the air-freshener on the Royal Enfield doesn't seem to work.
Do the pedals?

Our 1997 E36 convertible has a cabin filter. At least it did until I pulled the old element and couldn't insert the new one.
No appreciable difference though!
