I have a 2000 Z3 Roadster. Does this car have a cabin air filter? If so, where is it located?

Just found this thread --- having spend ages looking for the cabin filter !!!!! Is it correct, there is no cabin filter in a Z3? Not even the later models?

Oh...well that's an hour of my live I'm not getting back  !!!!!!! Thanks for the confirmation 👍

Out of curiosity, where's the wire mesh????
You have to locate the blower motor which is located behind the windshield wiper cowl.
Turn ignition to 1st click, rotate the blower control to max pop the bonnet and the noise will guide you.

The fact that they don't have one helped me weed out a shop that was insistent that I needed mine changed - and submitted it as a part of an estimate of work they thought needed to be done.

Do the pedals?

Tony.

Cabin filter in a convertible? Strange times we live in.
Our 1997 E36 convertible has a cabin filter. At least it did until I pulled the old element and couldn't insert the new one. :( No appreciable difference though!

Strange that they’re selling cabin filters with this service kit, two as well ?
