Not had fading problem, maybe when trhat happens I will not own the car, who knows.
My bonnet ones not faded but this winter with all the wet and rain it's gone a little crispy cracking up under the outer seal.
Time to replace it to keep it looking smart

Depends how much you want to spend, the original ones are I think over priced taking into account how old our cars are and what they are worth, with some exceptions I know, but we all have choice.

I've sorted one now from @Synclare. I assume it's an oem but we will find out in the forthcoming years.
