Hi everyone and thanks for the addition. 👍

I’m currently looking for a Z3 2.8 manual to use as a fun car and take to Car Shows. Colour-wise either Black or Atlanta Blue.😎

Does the Group have Regional Areas / Reps etc to organise meet-ups, Show Stands etc? 🤔

This will be my first BMW so please be patient as I’m likely to have LOTS of questions! 😂

I guess being 60 next time will make me a “mature driver” but I’m still intending to thoroughly enjoy the ownership experience! 🎉

At your age you'll fit right in, so welcome from me near Lincoln.

Welcome to Forum, loads of info on Z3 so any questions someone on here will be able to give you an answer. At 60 thats a young un to some of us in our mid 70s. ;)
If you follow the events section there will something there to give you a chance of going to a meeting, show etc. If you look in the event write if will give a flavour of what has been on so far this year.

You're just a boy! I've had mine since 2009 and was about to draw my pension in a few months even then! Get out and hit the rev limiter in the country roads as often ass possible. Mines a 2.2i Sport manual (is there any other transmission?)

Hi and welcome from me in Newport, South Wales, we have a group of us from this forum and the Z4 forum that meet up for run outs and doing jobs on our cars under the Zed Shed Cymru banner thats made up with owners from both forums. You are always welcome to join us on any run outs we have, we are braving the weather tonight with a run out up to Brecon and then over some of the interesting back roads to Builth Wells where we pause for Fish and Chips before heading back south. A few of our Bristol based members are comming over for this run, meeting at Trago Mills Car Park in Merthyr around 18:00 16/08/2022.
I usually post our planned trips and event attendances in the Event Thread on here so keep a look out for future events, there is one for a Vintage Fly In at the Cotswold Airport on 18th September you might be up for.
