Wow! How lucky is that?? Do as Gaz says and buy a lotto surely you're due to win after this episode! You can't sell the car now can you?? JIM

I can vouch for the nimble handling of @FRANKIE lovely Z3 as me and Shirl took a tour of our estate. Did seem strange though, LHD and changing gear with the right hand Dave.

Tony.

Yes it was fun with hire cars in Europe. Once you'd tried to change gear with the window winder a couple of times you got the hang of it. ;)

I was fortunate in that I'm left handed so never really found a problem shifting. What I found was I always looked the wrong way for the rear view mirror though! lol Old habit die hard, still do it occasionally. JIM

That was something I would have never thought about. I also found it strange to be looking at a different angle through the rear view mirror when I was in the UK with the RHD. Frankie

I'm selling the 325ci. I'm keeping the 2 Zs. Frankie
The best decision (after the one to buy thd red M)!
That's the Frankie i like!

Great to hear you're both ok @FRANKIE. Got home safe is the only way to think about it.
You can't afford to drop your concentration for a moment.

Glad you both came out of that well Frankie. The car performed great by the sounds of it but your quick reaction avoided something that could have been quite nasty.....

Did NHS ever admit that their diagnosis was faulty and agree with your private doctor? Did they ever end up paying for the treatment that you so badly needed?
I was on the Atlantic City Expressway traveling west out of Atlantic City. When you come to the mainland, there is a toll plaza in Pleasantville. I was in line waiting to pay the loll. There were 3 cars in front of me and there were concrete barriers on either side of me. I was the last car in line. I looked into my rear view mirror and saw a black car coming up behind me at about 40 mph that didn't seem to be slowing down and very soon realized he was going to hit me. Where could I go? There were cars in front of me and concrete barriers on either side of me. For a brief second, I thought of jumping out of the car but quickly realized the car was my only protection so I just braced myself and grabbed on the the steering wheel. He slammed into me without stopping or slowing. I was jammed back into the seat. The impact was so hard that it knocked the radio out of the dashboard into my lap. Even though I had my foot on the break, my car smashed into the car in front of me. I was able to get out of the car, but my back was hurting. When the police came, he told the state trooper that he didn't think he had to stop. The trooper looked at him and said "What do you mean? You have to stop and pay the toll!!!!" This was about 30 years ago before automatic toll collection. I had to go to therapy for about 6 months. I still have back pain now probably from that accident. Frankie

NHS admit they were wrong and pay up? you are joking aren't you!?

Foot on the brake pedal causes some of the problem. As the body moves forward when you hit the car in front, it causes the pelvis to twist the lower spine causing discs to twist as they jolt in the belts.

Your original accident sounds just like mine?
