SOLD Z3 2.8 Induction Kits

Hi All,

After building one for my car and testing it over the past 6 months i have decided to make a couple more and offer them out to Z3 owners on this forum with the view to making more if needed.

the sound is incredible and really brings the Z3 to life, i haven't noticed any heat soak, or any fuel consumption changes.

This has taken me ages to not only find a large enough filter that fits but also a packing solution that works in the tight space available.

My car which is a standard M52B28 with no other mods made 205.8BHP with this kit fitted. Now i'm not claiming this kit adds 15bhp but it is certainly doing no harm and sounds amazing.

The kit contains

• Genuine K&N Filter capable of handling 300 BHP
• Precision cut stainless intake pipe
• Premium 4 Ply Silicone Joiner
• 3 x Stainless Genuine Jubilee Clips
• Stainless Filter Brace
• Stainless hardware
• Rubber Vibration Insulator

The price is £140 + £10 postage (in the UK)

Need you to measure your maf outlet (m52 is 80mm) and send me a picture of your engine bay and i'll have a look

Need the maf to be measured and a picture as the brace might need to be modified for this to work as the airboxes on the 2.2 are slightly different to the 2.8

it will fit you maf and should fit physically in the space, the brace would definitely need to be changed as the mounts are different but that's the easy bit

I think there is a good chance that the 2.2 MAF is 80mm as my 2.0l is also 80mm

Looks a great bit of kit by the way, I would have had one but recently bought one.

Looks great. Unfortunately I'm not in a position to buy one at the moment as I've just paid out to repair the wifes car but if you do some more in the future I'd definitely be interested.

I heard this induction kit on Sharpeys car on Sunday. Boy the sound it makes is amazing. Never heard so much bass in a induction roar. Sounds like a jet plane. Especially when the load pedal is pushed...
