Hi there.
I sometimes think that my gear change could be bit more precise. Is this a common problem ?
How easy is it to change the bushes in the linkage on the Zed. Does anybody know if you can still get hold of these and if so does anybody know the part numbers

Many thanks

Andy

it looks like a bugger to do with the gearbox in the car unless you have a ramp.

I would change the diff mount first, they always knackered and it made things tighter on mine.
Also gearbox mounts(apparently very easy, need to do those still).
Don't recall seeing much about linkage issues on these. How many miles it done?

My gearbox used to be a bit notchy, especially into 5th,I changed the gearbox oil, and done the earls braided clutch hose kit,now it's like a hot knife through butter! I also changed the rear diff oil , and diff bush with a genuine Bmw one, Bmw says the gearbox oil doesn't need changing in its lifetime, what a load off old tosh!!!I

My gearbox is quite poor I think. It improved after the gbox oil was changed. 1st is awful from cold startup.
