Great car, but its a Buyers market you could put it up at 10k but would expect people to offer less. At the end of the day its 25 yeras old despite the ultra low mileage. They are going to ask about service history so be prepared with supporting documents. Being a 2.8 its going to stand out amongs all the 1.9's that are on the market.

Thanks Colb for your input, it has a service history but most of the work was carried out by myself as I am a time served motor mechanic and marine engineer now retired I am 73.
Not too much work involved over the years, the usual service etc:

Ten grand all day long. More on a good day.

Mileage is everything. At 19k it will look, drive, feel, smell and ride like a new one in the way a 100,000 mile one will not regardless of how many times it's been repaired, rebuilt etc. Cars are only original once.

MGC's, Healey 3000's and TR5's were cheap bangers once but then they were classics and the mint unrestored originals - impossible to find - are worth the most.

I'd be cheeky and try it at £12'995. You can always come down but................'find another one'. BMW are not making any more.
