Hi everyone Lynne and I were talking last night and the subject of calendars came up .
As some of you know I put together the 2020 Zroadster calendar last minute last year as it was about to not happen but I only achieved this as @Redline Ian had already done all the work with the pictures narrowing the suitable images and adding the forum logo to them all I really did was find a supplier send off the files ian had sent and sorted distribution.
Ian has told me a bit about why certain pictures don't work on a calendar size due to size and format and other things now I do cars for a living don't know the first thing about sorting the images properly.

So the first thing is shout out your thoughts on here as to whether there is enough interest to pursue this for a 2021 calendar.
Secondly if anyone has the knowledge and a bit of time spare to help with the editing please pm me .

If there is enough interest by forum members to purchase a calendar then we will discuss what is actually going to be in it so no pictures on this thread please can we keep the discussion just now to whether to have a calendar next year or not.

Thanks guys Stephen 🗓📆📅🗳🗳😀

I'm in mate, I'm a teck retard though.

Sorry to say I'm with Andy:(

Tony.

Hi Steve,

I'd be up for one although I'm not really a picture taker when I take my car out ;)

David

@Stevo7682 I'd buy one again, but no help with the techno stuff.

@Stevo7682 - whatever ends up happening I can't tell you how much I appreciate the effort and time you put in to the forum.

Hi as there seems to be some interest let's see what we can do  .

@GazHyde thanks for the kind words Gaz I just see it as doing my bit for this online community.
While I remember the Zroadster logo that is on the previous calendar on each page is that something you have on a file or did Ian ( Redline) put that together.

@TrevD66 that would be great if you could provide some assistance no problem with sending by email ( makes the world a small place) will get in touch with you once I see what we will need :D

As for calendar content @spurs fan in a coupe Andy the Picture of the Month winners this year were my first obvious choice but then I looked at them in my opinion its fine but some may not agree .

It would look something like this
Opinions please( these are just screenshots so I could see all the P.O.T.M winners back to back )

If I recall something Ian said was about the quality of the original pictures being acceptable for enlargement to calendar picture size. I would suggest that some of those pictures (and I'm NOT critiscisng here) may not be good enough to use. I don't know if Ian is still about on here but if so he may make comment.

Tony this is the reason I asked earlier in the post if there was anyone with the knowledge about these sort of things @TrevD66 has offered to help but firstly need to get some agreement on what the content should be ( and then if the various pictures are of suitable size and quality) as there is no point in producing a product if various potential buyers are not happy with the content hence I would like some of you guys input as I would like this to be a forum decision.

If we do decide to go ahead with the picture of the month winners as being the entries if some of the pictures are not of suitable quality then my fallback would be whatever Month it was go back to the Voting thread for that month and move down to the next highest voted picture and put that forward instead.

Good shout mate.

Very sensible idea Steve, saves trawling through lots and lots of pictures when time is possibly running short. Like I said I wasn't being critical anyone's picture but you need someone who knows about this type of stuff. Great that Trev has put himself forward to help out. I'm no help technically but happy to post them out for you if that is any use.

Looks good to me, In some Calendar layouts you can have large and small pictures. Or you can make a collage out of many pictures meaning lower resolution pics could be used as well.

Hi @Stevo7682 the image resolution needs to be high. 300dpi (dit’s per inch) for reproduction to be good. @Oddly Godly has a point which might work if the image resolution is low: reproducing such as tiny images will help.
