Not on a prefacelift model, its a lot more involved

Only if its a face-lift model 2.8. If its not, then cruise control requires a different kit that includes an actuator that connects to the throttle body.

If it's a 99 there is a chance it's got the facelift engine. If it has then it's plug and play.

Best mod I did that improves the whole driving experience was a Royals steering wheel. Along with the seat tilt mod and a weighted gear knob is a good place to start. That's before fitting bigger brakes and a lot of other things, the list can get endless.

What can you recommend for bigger brakes please? I’m currently looking at upgrading mine on 18” rims.

Pretty much a bolt-on job, and not really any more expensive than changing standard discs/pads/calipers. A fine opportunity to paint things, too. Ooooooh shiny. We like shiny.
