haha!, Thanks Ray ...wire wheels on a Z3 always brings out the lovers & the haters... not many middle grounders... I purchased my Z3 3 years ago & have spent that time completely rebuilding it inside and out... I went for the 'Classic 50's/60's Roadster' theme... while it may not be a real classic (yet, coz not old enough), there is no doubt that the Z3 was retro styled by design, so this classic style works well in my opinion... & unlike a 'real old' classic, you can power slide this around corners, no problem coz there is an extensively modified engine & drive train within ... the latest issue of great debate is ride height... so many people feel strongly that I should lower it, but I will not, coz the Classic style does not work well with lowered cars (speeds bumps don't either!)... just fitted new OEM sports springs all round and fitted Bilstein B4's a couple of years ago... so the ride height is stock & I prefer it that way! .... the wire wheels are from Dayton (USA) and they did a fantastic job & custom designed them to my specification in terms of backspace etc... they are direct bolt on wheels & the two eared chrome spinners are just for show ... (as is most of the body work on cars!)...

Thanks for the complements, I'm from the UK, No mods as of yet,
The only thing which should make it look different is the front numberplate which is unfortunately back on

Welcome from me too. I am normally a hater but for some reason, on your car, it works...scratches head...!
I don't think wire wheels will work on every Z3. Only if they are one of certain colours, eg, dark reds/dark greens etc, Black or perhaps white. Also in my opinion it is important to style the whole car retro... for example, a set of wire wheels on a low hung aggressive stance street racer style Z3 would not work at all...
