Bloody hell! I love fish and chips as a treat but that's outrageous.Flipping Heck they rip you off for Fish and Chips In WhitbyPrices for fish and chips are between £10 standard to £15 for a large fish and chips in the Cafe's, before I book a place, any thoughts? Do we want to sit down or go with take away (which is still expensive) around £7
Can those attending please let me know there preference ASAP so if needed I can get a booking for a sit down.

All though if the weather's not too good it would be nice to be sat in side.
The fish especially the skate is out of this world when I went there a few years back.
Expensive but never had better fish and chips anywhere.

We were in Whitby about 8 years ago and one of the Fish n Chip restaurants on the key side had recently won , I think it was chippy of the year or something, and the prices had sky rocketed, strangely a similar thing happened to one in Lincoln a couple of years ago too.
Fish and Chips always taste better at the coast anyway. Hope you all enjoy them where ever you have them and how ever much they cost.

We were in Whitby earlier this year and thought we were paying for the real gold in their crispy golden batter. There's a great little pub called The Black Horse in the town centre. It was a regular feature in the Heartbeat series, a real throw back to the 60's and 70's
I have Booked Trenchers for 13;30-14:00 for up to 20 people, but will need to let them know exact numbers by the 4th of December. So if everyone could please confirm by Friday 4th if they are coming along or not and if they will be partaking in Fish and Chips at Trenchers it would be appreciated.

They used to give out vouchers when you ate there, on the second visit you got a discount , wonder if theres any discount for group bookings ,
