Thanks Jim,looks a nice place and they have 1 twin room left at the mo.
Going to book it shortly :)
We're thinking of staying on after Sunday for a few days on the coast,Robin Hoods Bay area hopefully .

Hi all for anyone that's intrested in a little ride out/meet up on 6th December.

Was thinking about meeting up around 1000 at Squires cafe, Newthorpe (N Yorks), Gorse Lane, Leeds, West Yorkshire LS25 5LX
Grab a breakfast then head on towards Pickering then the coast (Whitby) over the north Yorkshire moors for fish and chips.

After head on down towards Scarborough and Bridlington and make our way back towards home.

If anyone has any ideas or wants to do something different let me know as I'm new on here and don't know anyone yet.

Peace Darcy

You not coming Darcy?

Could do with a front man for the driving if there's any volunteers?
Also help picking the best route.

This meet is more of a group effort as it's hard not knowing anyone before hand.

Darcy

I don't know the area at all but by going by Mozza's Suggestions this is something like the route. If Mozza comes along he may? volunteer to run in front!

Hi folks, I dont mind leading , the route Jims just posted is sommat like , I thought , with a couple of adjustments,
Leave meet point then to Helmsley coming off the A64 , then back roads to Flaxton, sherriff hutton, hovingham , sproxton, helmsley,
Toilet stop!.Then B1257 to Stokesley, back rd again toEasby, kildale, etc to Whitby,
Start point to Helmsley about 47 ml , 1hr, Helmsley to whitby approximately 60ml , 2hrs, ish plus any stops .
Think we need to leave start point by 10am , latest to get the most of daylight, to arrive in whitby1.30 -2pm ish , dark at 4pm,
Booked into same b&b as TaffZee, (Jim) ,
But this is weather depenant, so we need Bowler to order some dry weather, lol

Top Man Mozza, I will be going no matter what the weather is like. Sun, Rain or Snow, even if its on my lonesome.

Cheers guys for the help on this. Massive help

I'll be there what ever the weather. Still warmer than been out on the bike.

Right fish and chips.
With a little help from taffzee (Jim) we are going to look at booking in for dinner around 1300-1400
Going to have to limit numbers to 20 for booking so first come first served and ill add you to the list.

Also adjusted the meet time to 0900 meet 1000 depart from squires.

Peace

Flipping Heck they rip you off for Fish and Chips In Whitby:eek: Prices for fish and chips are between £10 standard to £15 for a large fish and chips in the Cafe's, before I book a place, any thoughts? Do we want to sit down or go with take away (which is still expensive) around £7

Can those attending please let me know there preference ASAP so if needed I can get a booking for a sit down.

Café or Takeaway?
