Yeah week off work

Hi @MrsZ3Cade :p
How are you all :)
What is your new job Caroline :)
Can't believe Matthew will be 2 this weekend ;)
How time flies :)

I know! It's scary!
We're all fine thank you, just getting some more bits done around the house, the wall between the kitchen & dining room is coming down next week and we have some new French doors being delivered for the living room soon too, so plenty to keep Liam busy :-)
My new role is administrator & PA to the lead nurse at the Macmillan treatment centre at the hospital.
Xx

What a change your having both at home and at work :)
Our bungalow seams to be going on for ever were not doing anymore till next year :)
Can't wait for the kitchen to be finished ;)
Hopefully see you all soon :)

Yeah I know @miller1098 :)
I'd luv to go out for lunch with my friends :p
But Alan has spent hours doing the floor ............. :)
And it can't get dirty again before he put the varnish on it as all the marks will show up :p
Will hopefully meet up with them all soon :)

That's very true @miller1098 :)
I totally agree ;)
But trying telling Alan that after days of sanding the floor :)

If only it was that easy @miller1098 :)
Alan would never believe me =))
I'd go for lunch it would be lovely , to have a break from the kitchen, I'm sure Alan would luv it too :p
But he wants to get it done ;)

like you put my bungalow first doing the jobs while i had 3 days, only started the z4 to move and wash it, a break from the house jobs, but if the sun had been rely out :whistle:thats the problem suns out roof down hit the road, thats why the job list never gets smaller ;)

I've already made a mark on the floor ......... :(
From where the bin was ;)
Alan is now taking the flooring up to replace the wood ;)
We could both do with a break :)
I can't wait till the sander goes back ...... :)
The noise is terrible from it =))

I know what you are living through @Shelly I used to do hardwood floor refinishing in the area including a couple of gymnasiums as a hobby. The machines scream at you steadily so I don't envy Alan or you having to hear them. But the finished project will make you forget all the hard work as the floors shine back at you day after day. So hang in there the easy parts are coming, JIM

Yes the end result will be worth it @oldcarman :p
Alan looked like a snowman afterwards =))
Hopefully he will put the 1st coat of Ronseal on the floor tonight :)
It needs 4 coats in total :)
Can't wait to give the bungalow a good clean .......... :)
As the dust has got everywhere :p

Shelly, at least you and Alan survived the sander.

I thought I'd have another entry in my book!

Death by floor sander!

X

That's so funny @M666BMG :p
Sorry we couldn't make that entry :)
Still time yet as the bedrooms will need doing next year :)
But I hope not .........
