X8R Fibreglass Mirrors

Afternoon Ladies and Gents,

I've finally had to dismantle my wife's door mirror and of course the aluminium body is broken in the normal place.

I've found a company called X8R on the internet who make a reinforced fibreglass replacement which obviously will never corrode.

Has anyone used these? They're relatively inexpensive considering a "good used" one is around the same price... just looking for a review before I shell out on them and find they're no good?

Yes, I'll second that, my black zed has a pair of these fitted and never had any reason not to be happy with them

I have had one of those in the past and found it to be very good and probably more resilient than the original for corrosion

Likewise replaced both on my car a few days ago, easy job no need to remove door card, very pleased with the result
