You must have known it was a scam straight away......you never buy a tv licence !!!!!

That must be from the same guy who keeps sending me emails about my apple I phone account issues.
Never owned an I phone ever .

Same here re my none existent Netflix account Steve. The rotten buggers have temporarily closed that 3 times up to now. . . . . .

I've had a couple suggesting the perpetrator (sorry originator) has a video of me observing internet porn, I should pay £xxx into a bitcoin account prompt.
I'm still waiting a year at least for this video, so are all my contacts :D

I have a domain that I have a few email addresses on. My ex missus (still uses it) and my daughter does. Any emails to the domain that do not have a registered address come to me. The perp can't spell my daughter's name but she too has been compromised apparently.

Only today my Fiancee phoned me regarding an email where they have all her account info and such. From what I could gather she just needed to got to this link to clear it all up. Internet is amazing, not only is it easy to be compromised but you can click on a single URL and all is well :p

No, I just turned the colour control right down, hoping they wouldn't notice Pete. By the way thanks for the tip mate ;)

Tony.

Pauline had a similar mail. Apparently she has overpaid the TV License by £40. All she needed to do was give them all the bank details so they could refund her. I had a look at the site and it was fairly convincing, exactly the same as the genuine TV licence web site. The clue was none of the links to other areas worked.

We knew it was a scam 'cos she's never paid the TV license anyway=))
