See a lot of underside corrosion about here due to being on the west coast here salt air gets pushed in land a bit due to most of our weather coming in from the west

Corroded brake pipes fairly common mot issue.
You can go under some Japanese cars Toyota suzuki and some honda and the chassis ok but things like subframes suspension arms etc get really rusty looking fairly quick .
Fiat 1.2 engine with rotton sumps really common another one seen a couple of failure is rear axle beam spring mounting rotting away on fiat panda.
