World champ positive.

I think Mad Max may take the win.

Bottas will never have a better chance of a win. Used to think the same about Irvine and Massa but somehow their cars always developed problems

Sergio Perez, driving really well since getting the sack.
Think that would get him a seat at Red Bull

Could not believe that Merc engine giving up the ghost Paul, really bad luck. Or was it just the commentators kiss of death, one of them said just before it blew that it would be the first time he had scored successive podiums. . . . . . .

Tony.

Mercedes have managed/guided him since 2017 plus he's already had some test driving sessions for them, so the car will not be totally strange to him. I expect he'll be aiming to get in the points at least, the more the better of course. Good luck to the Williams reserve Jack Aitken also who will take Russell's place.

Good to see a couple of English lads getting a chance.

It will be an interesting experiment to see what happens when you put one of the drivers of maybe the worst car on the grid into the best car.

We now know, but what bad luck
It was only the team who let him down. An excellent drive.

If you like conspiracy theories, how about he did way better than expected, there was no way the team were going to let him win and make it look like it's all about the car and not so much Hamilton's ability?

As a team Mercedes want it to be more the car than the driver

Mercedes just made a mess of a pit stop. It's by no means the first time and has cost them and Hamilton wins on previous occasions. Really tough luck for Russell who is obviously a star for the future.
