Hi i am wanting to buy a workshop manual ?
what would anyone reccomend ?and were is the best place to get one ? is there a difference between an english and American edition ?

I just have a Haynes e36 manual, seems to do the trick, bought off eBay

The Bentley manuals are rather expensive (£80 used), some pop up on the forum "for sale" from time to time, or there are a few on eBay

I don't think Haynes did a specific Z3 manual, just an E36 which covers 'some' of the Z3 but nowhere near all.

The Bentley manual is a US publication, specific to the US market. It is not very good IMO, especially as it is VERY, VERY expensive.

Not only are many things missing that aren't US spec, it is not very thorough with anything. Not a patch on a Haynes manual.
