I was born and dragged up in Leeds, but I left and moved even further "oop north" more than 30 years ago.
Whitelocks is still worth a visit though

I too was born and bred in Leeds. Talbot Road school, followed by Roundhay Grammar School (it was a grammar school in those days). Went to Whitelocks but my local was The Deer Park - still there, and The Chained Bull - sadly an M&S foodstore now.
