wire wheels

If you can source the hub adapters you can fit wires to any car.

The hub adapters are the tricky part as don't think they will be off the shelf for a Z4 (or any modern car TBH).
Wires tend to be quite small aswell for various reasons.

Pretty much THE people for wire wheels in the UK, they did do some for the Z but now discontinued.
Worth asking them though.

All made in China these days, with their super high quality chroming methods. So keeping them clean is the least of the problems; keeping them from dissolving will be more of an issue for me ( yes I do have new a set of 'wires' sitting in boxes waiting for the day).

I had a 79 Mustang many years ago now, with wires. So although I like them, I,m aware of the issues associated with them. And I should imagine it,s only worse now if as you say they are coming out China...
 
I like it, same colour as my Z4, Sterling grey and always wondered how it would look. But yes they are a sod to clean properly. :thumbsup:
