Just finished this year's winter project. Just got to run the rebuilt engine in and then I'll be storming the lanes at a heady 30mph.....

Dan @Zeti will love this

Very nice moped and a great work on the restoration!
Me too I made a crush on "these little things" called moped, in the last seven years.;)
I found it very relaxing and educational to restore some in every winter and than very addictive to fulfill the running in period during the summer!
Now I realized that i'll need maybe an extra life to fulfill the running in for all of it...=))
This winter I had three projects in the plan. I'm still a little behind, about 60% realized, because the weather was so good that I couldn't stop my self to not run the Jawa 353...:D
I found the 60's as the golden era of mopeds! I simply love them all...
...and yes, i entirely agree that running a moped at 20-30 mph can offer a great satisfaction! And very ecological too, with only 1-2 liter/100km!:)
I'll send you pics of my mopeds and projects. I 'll make a selection as now I reached 16...mostly German, Czech, but also a British (the pearl of the crown;))
Nice job again! Congratulations and I would like a sound record of the Motobecane! They made very interesting bikes in the sixties, with nice shapes and design. I was fascinated by the Mobillette with automatic transmission...
Dry roads!

Guys, as we are more than two,:) I'll open a new thread :"Mopeds and Motonostalgia corner".
As we did randomly in the paste, now we will concentrate all in one post.
We shouldn't hijack Robert's post!;)
