What are you guys planning over the winter,
I am doing
VANOS seals,
Paint underside of boot lid,
remove all wheel are guards, prep and paint all inner wheel arches,
Repaint caliper to got rid of that god dam awful yellow that I did them in,
Repaint wheels, different colour,
may retrofit electric hood,
New hood,
Possible hardtop,

I think mine is
Paint calipers and sort the rusty panels (sills).
Short list but guarantee its not limited to those jobs

I am thinking about going back to work 3 days a week just for the Winter months. I want to do a lot of Zedding and loads more things next year so the cash would come in handy.

- Get new calipers, pads and discs, paint calipers and fit everything to car
- Fit the rest of the cruise control bits
- Source wide body panels in Atlanta blue ready for my respray.
- New shocks and springs maybe...

New rear tyres.
One wheel refurb at same time bit of curb and bubbles.
Dent man to get out 3 parking dings out of my driving door but no rush as probably get another one :whistle:
Oil service in spring again .
Hopefully that's all.

  • Oil & filter change
  • Fit black dashboard middle section
  • Fit refurbished E46 330 calipers and new discs and pads

Sure there’s more, there always is :whistle:

This winter I'm afraid the dakar is getting neglected :eek: ( yes i know i hang my head in shame :bag: ) .
But its full steam ahead on lynne's zed :) (my youngest would like half his bedroom back ):whistle:
I need to fix the grub screw on the offside roof catch ( to adjust)
Finishing touches to roof repair
Then take roof cover off leave out in the rain .:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:
If all good full interior refit :D
Then full car clean ready for spring :):):)

Had a conversation with Carrie and we decided to keep it for another 3 years then its pension time, she wants a 3.2 Boxter :eek:
Nice one mate. My older sister has the 3.4 Boxster.

New battery - going in on Saturday.
Bodywork deep clean - polish - and wax.
Adjust Hardtop - ever so slightly - right to left.
Clean engine bay - again.
Lubricate window runners.
Add sound proof material behind door cards and boot lid.

Poly bush the front end.
Braided Brake hoses.
I have the refurbished rear beam to bush and fit.
Re do the tank straps whilst the sub frames out. Renew the hard lines and swing arm bushes.
Dependant on how it then sits may be a full suspension change.
Should keep me busy enough i suppose o_O
 
Top
