Write Up Windy Peaks.

Had a drive out around the Peak District today and despite forecasts for rain at some point it stayed dry and surprisingly bright. However it was rather windy, so much so that when we stopped on a ridge to admire the view I thought there was something wrong with my door.I couldn't open it, but realized it was the strength of the wind before forcing it open.Getting out I struggled to stay on my feet!

First stop for 'coffees' over your way Dave at 'Country Kitchen' , Winkhill, then north towards the Roaches before back into Derbyshire. Very nice lunch at the Beehive, Combs village.

Yep, been to the Country Kitchen many times, good place for lunch as well.
