Ed and Stanley"s Story of being rescued by the charity

Hello everyone we are Ed and Stanley and yes we know we are really cute :p

We were born on a Farm and left to the foxes, we also heard that we may have been drowned as the farmer had no care for us :(

Then came along Sarah our foster mummy from The Cats Whiskers Rescue and saved our lives

While in her care waiting for our forever homes Sarah gave us warm beds, cuddles lots of toys and yummy food to eat. We know that all this costs alot to look after us. All of this was made possible by some lovely people who kindly donated a little to help us and other cats and kittens survive

We are very happy now as we have found our forever homes with @BMBabe Who loves us very much

So please if you are reading this would you be kind enough to help our friends starting in life and others getting a new start in life by joining in with this fun prize

Thank you millions
Ed and Stanley xx

Stacey ,what a brilliant cause your doing there, here's one off my semi feral cats in front off my log burner in the garage yesterday ,with the Zed, I rescued three off them, one lives at home hope is 200meters away with my Labradors ,and she won't tolerate the other two cats, who are her sisters, but she's missing out ,as Felix and patch spend most off the time with me and the Zed, they really don't get left out, I built them a a little insulated mini log cabin two years ago.who I feed 3 times a day, and are bloody great company, come on guys have a heart ,please, please give to Stacey's brilliant cause.

Here it is when I bought it , since then it was Insulated and capped with 18 ml thick marine ply floor to ceiling ,I have a thermometer in there, even when it's minus two outside, it's above freezing inside, and super cool inside in the summer,it has 3 diffrent level bedding areas, and hammocks,it's sits next to my garage ,but I can't let them in the garage at nite as its alarmed to the hilt, but I do take them warm milk and ham at 8.30 pm every nite, 7 days a week, it's such a shame I tried everything to rehome them when they were kittens, but every charity was full, but in hindsight I'm glad they didn't go ,there such good company,I finished off my last sill replacement today ,with patch looking at me when things weren't going right,it makes you smile and think twice.

I am a cat lover as well @BMBabe, both Turkish Angora and half sisters, this was the little one, Mouse ....

This was the larger one, Izzy.

Its a shame that pedigree cats don't live very long, on paper, but these two made it to 11 & 12 years old.
Mouse was the first to go and we then watched Izzy pine away at the loss of her half sister, people say that this is rubbish but we watched it happen.
She would sit all day looking out into the garden, waiting for her sister to come home.

They were house and garden cats and we had high walls around the garden and they showed no interest in getting out, they loved their own little world.

It's heart breaking when they go and to watch one pine like that must of been awful :(
I lost my 9 year old studdenly just before Christmas and it's broken my heart but the other nutters are keeping me going :)

I remember you posting that, I think?
Are you going to get another one or are you worried it would not work bringing a newcomer in to the house?

My two boys are brothers and probably wouldn't mind having a new friend
I will be helping the charity by fostering a kitten with three legs until it finds it forever home
The little boy has been named Little Prince in memory of my boy Prince

Since I have been living here above my mates business premises and I have a large rooftop terrace and there is already a cat flap in the kitchen door, I have been toying with the idea of getting a rescue cat but I live in the center of town and all there is beyond the terrace are more roofs and out the front is one busy road that normally = 'Flat Cat' .... :(

We got Willow to replace an whole left in the Family when we lost Misty suddenly in a dog attack. Mortified to say the least and our other cat trigger went the same pining for her and longing for her to appear.
Misty will never be replaced as she was the wifes best friend and would go every where with her, but Willow gives her a new friend and a playmate for Trigger although sometimes i think he would like peace !!!
Heres Misty much loved and missed..
