Will it Rust Like an Austin

Might have said before....All-agro .... perfect farm vehicle - always carried several gallons of water in the boot.

Not going to knock yellow. First car was a signal yellow Mk1 ford escort 1100.
Maybe it was Austin (Texas) yellow.

Nothing wrong with Fords yellow mate I had a Daytona yellow Capri lovely colour. And yes it prob is Austin Texas but thats nowhere near as funny. :D

I had a Vauxhall Chevette in Jamaica Yellow with Deerskin vinyl interior. Bought it brand new in August 1978

I bet in the bright sunshine of Texas that that yellow really does stand out, Under our grey and miserable clouds I bet it just looks dirty. Or, maybe, its paint that was left over and all mixed together when they bought the rights to the mini

That was my first brand new company car, I remember it being brought to the office for me! WOW I thought what a lovely mustardy yellow colour.:yuck:
BUT, that BMW in Austin yellow, gimmee one of those any day!

We owned this for twelve years up till September 2015 A Triumph Dolomite 1300 in Inca Yellow or Council Yellow as we used to call it. It always attracted a lot of attention and it was surprising how many people owned one in the past and would get nostalgic about it.

Never mind the yellow peril Alan (looks very nice by the way), look what it's parked next to @hard top. A touring version too.

Tony.
