Forgot about Brexit apparently sad as it is some American i have never heard of as died in a helicopter. Wonder if when Colin McRae died it was plastered over American TV?
Unfortunately not, but there's probably more people over here follow basketball than there were Americans who followed rallying during McRae's time. The death of Kobe Bryant would be equivalent over here to the likes of it being Beckham or Hamilton.

His thirteen year old daughter has died so my heart goes out to the family members left. Personally never heard of him and where celebs are concerned unless they’ve done more than their bit for charity I’m not concerned at all.
All the media are good for is making you think something awful that’s happened hundreds of miles away is right there in your front room, not saying it’s a bad thing but its not as if we haven’t got enough to worry about with the rent over due etc. Too much sad news these days.
Remember back in the early 50s they predicted the end of the world by a huge tidal wave on a certain day,( think I was 5yrs old) sat on the kerb outside our village home waiting for this wave to start coming up the road so I could run in and warn my mum to shut the doors and windows. My father turned up from his 12hr shift at work on his motorbike and asked me why I hadn’t met him further down the road to get a short ride of about 100yrds. When I explained that the 100yrds might be the difference between getting no water into the house he picked me up in his arms and said he’d never be be afraid to leave for work again cos the family would be in safe hands if I were there. Then obviously sat me down and told me that most predictions are only guesses.
He’s been right so far GRHS, so Brexit in my fathers view would be, “your guess is as good as mine”.=))=))=))

ROY. ;)
PS, true story.

Kobe Bryant's helicopter crash is awful, brings it all back when Leicester chairman's went down, only 15 months ago, sad times.

Come on, now. You know us Americans don't like racing that turns both left and right...

But yes, Kobe Bryant...sad in the abstract as this was completely avoidable.

I'll be happy with Brexit when I see some good from it. So far the only change is that everybody's pound is worth less.:(

The pound is quite strong at £1.18, before the referendum it went even at one point

It is up on the Dollar too which I like.

Tony.

The only downside I can see is a return to (eventually) an IDP and green card to do a Euro trip :whistle:

It's the millenium all over again! The world won't end and the BBC and other news outlets will have to find some other doom and gloom to bleat about.

Sun is shining here. :) :D
It will keep shining too. :) :D

Wish you all good luck there and hope the lights stay on. Might be back when the dust has settled.

Looking forward to the celebrations on Friday, assuming I can stay awake long enough. Bet the biased BBC won't like it.
