That’s the other potential for sure, bonnet being a little too far back, but you’d be able to tell in the shut lines surely.

Good job I have a perfect example to compare against. Reckon the bonnet could go forward a couple of mill ? It’s the red one with the issue

No real adjustment in the wiper mechanism. There is some adjustment to be had in the bonnet alignment, but that looks like a 2 or 3 person job.
My car has a history of wipers catching. Apparently fixed at some point in the past, but a few months ago, I accidentally left the bonnet in a not fully closed state after an oil top up and the driver’s side wiper then fouled the bonnet, so may be a bonnet issue.
Also saw a car at the Denbies event that had a plastic trim strip along the edge of the bonnet. Didn’t look great in my opinion, but would certainly do a job if the rubbing was inevitable.

I’ve decided I just won’t drive in the rain .. which is probably wise given the state of the roof 😎😁

I had this issue, perhaps 15 years ago now, on a BMW M Coupe bought as a BMW approved used car. The remedy under warranty was to change "the cassette" which is what the BMW garage called it - think its the whole gubbins.

I’ve done a ‘gubbins’ change from a known good car …or do they mean just put on different music ? 😁😎
