Whoops it's too big

I packed up our Z4 for a trip around Europe last year filling the boot up with all we could, it was a squeeze - but I made sure the divider would still close. Having the roof down was essential.

Th phone charger we took kept popping out of my wife's phone. I asked her if she had an elastic band which she could wrap around the lead connector and phone to hold it.........................."There was no room for one" she replied!! :banghead:

I've heard a story like this recently, now who was it ..........?;)

Tony.

ps. I have a Big bag of compost at home and our Abbie wants me to bring it in to Lincoln tomorrow , so it looks like I will have a silent passenger in the morning because it sure won't fit in the boot!=))

Good job it's compost and not manure or you'd be sitting in (with) the S... Tony.!!!!!!! =))

+1 forgot to mention the boot rack......silly me.

:D

I'd forgotten that too Mike, we haven't had the right/wrong way discussion for a while anyway.=))

Tony.

If you turned it over the beer would fall out.

Tony.

What? The beer crate?.........;)

No the rack, don't matter which way the crate is on.
I would mount the rack the other way round cos I'd rather my beer come hit me in the back of my neck than it scooting off the back at the traffic lights when showing a boy racer the way home, at least I'd still have most bottles in the car and not smashed to pieces by the stupid p***** behind who somehow couldn't avoid the crate. Stopping may become a problem though, bottles on car floor verses foot on brake don't make real good companions. Whole new ball game if the hood is up. Easy solution though, put crate on passenger seat and tell her to get the bus.=))

@Rha makes no difference how you put the darn thing on, unless you have the OEM BMW Suitcase.

tell her to get the bus.
A brave man Roy boy.=))=))=)) I bet your missus wasn't watching over your shoulder as you typed that.:)

Tony.

Had a few of these recently!

At Christmas our TV went bang so on a trip to Sainsburys ended up buying a rather large plasma.

Forgot all about fitting the huge box into our focus. Ended up sending the wife home with our boy in the focus and waiting in the freezing cold feeling rather stupid for a mate to come and pick me and my new friend up!

This week, being a stereotypical Englishman I was at Wickes on Bank Holiday Monday buying DIY s*** that I really don't want. Decided to also buy a load (6x90l) of bark to prepare for a much anticipated (see my bumper thread) party!
Only to remember as I got to my Pug 307 that as we just traded in out focus and were waiting for next car to be serviced and valeted that I had a baby seat and buggy, changing bag and other general baby paraphernalia in the car!

Was the most embarrassing game of jenga I've ever played (despite 4 years at uni!)

Likewise ,somehow ended up in the cash and carry for a"couple"of things in the Z.came out with bumper valu pack of24 toilet rolls ,2 industrial boxes of washing powder,3x24 beer,2boxes of crisps and various sundries.it all went in,it all went in but the only thin that came out of the car still in the box was the washing powder all be it a little flat.there was Crisp packets and toilet rolls stuck in every orifice.all anyone could see was beer crisps and toilet rolls, party on :)
