Just snowing here got about 1" pity it's a day late but probably gone by the morning.

Hope you all had a good Christmas break if only a few days for some.
 
The rain is getting thick like sleet now Brian near Lincoln. Saw it snowing on the footy at Leicester.

We had the perfect white Christmas snowfall Christmas Eve. Snowflakes about the size of cookies gently floating down through the still air. Very pretty to see and such a nice change from the brutal snowstorms we're used to seeing. The temps have been very mild but look to be returning to normal next week. This time last year was up to my butt in snow, this year it's barely covering my grass. JIM
 
Got a fair covering now. Uncle Harry just left for home in Gainsborough. I warmed his car up and cleared the windows and he duly left onto the dual carriageway with no lights on! I think he would realise after half a mile when he left the street lit area .lol. 009.webp

Wonder what will be left in the morning and how many customers will bother to turn up at work?;)

We got nothing but rain here, Tony so we are getting wetter & wetter!!!:rolleyes:

Not sure who has been affected overnight, but looking on the BBC news site this morning it looks bad out there in some places.

Not even a frost in Newbury though!
 
Nearly all gone here but froze overnight so pavements slippery.
 
I could be making some slush puppies!=))
