Now wanting to go for a drive and it's persisting it down.

No matter. It's meant to be a car for all seasons so loaded up the dog and off we went to see the ducks. Nice weather for them, apparently. Why do people say that? Got to the lake and not a duck to be seen. Found some of them hiding round the back - water's too wet for them.

Cup of coffee. Shared a welsh cake with the dog and once round the lake and back to the car.

Just noticed a bit of a flat tyre up front - only flat at the bottom though so should be ok.

Archie's not impressed by the weather either. Refused to look at me.

Nice photos, hope the eye is feeling ok and a big improvement. My sister has had both eyes done in the last couple of years and is very pleased with the result.

Yes. I'd recommend everyone wth cataract should have them done. The op itself really isn't bad. No pain or real discomfort at all. My problem is that I suffer bad from motion sickness. any balance or vision problems makes me feel ick for days. After the cataract op my new bionic eye was so clear and so bright that it made me feel sick - Brain struggling to cope with all that new data.

Ha. Thanks. Yeah. Looks good in the rain. (as the saying goes, never buy a car in the rain)

RAL 7015 It's the color of the gel coat. But I've done a lot of GRP work on the nose and the bonnet bulge so I went over it with a rattle can. But when I'm done fiddling with it that is the colour I'll have it done professionally.

Had mine a year ago. I knew my vision was bad, but didn't realize how bad until after the surgeries. Now have 20/20 vision and I 'm not terrified to drive after dark. My experience with the surgery was that it was a lot of flashing lights, and I joked with the dr. it was like a light show from the 60s. Each eye only took about 10 minutes and I was out and on my way home. I highly recommend it for anyone with cataracts.
