Needed to move the Zed today …got in, turned the key…and nothing..not a even glimmer of life. I noticed on the last service notes the battery drop test had failed..but as it was still cranking over ok I ignored it. Hi my Bosch S5008 Battery fits in the space but does not allow for the long bolt and clamp to retain it
I have fitted the battery into the back retaining location and held on place with a wedge of rubber at the other end.
Hope this helps

Now found that the original bolt for clamp was sheared off so drilled and tapped thread and fitted new bolt and clamp

Thanks bombur. I just bit the bullet and bought the Bosch S4 and it does fit. The old yuasa was 248 but this works fine

Thanks Norm and Ant too. Well I did manage to slip it under the fixed retaining bracket at the front end and then get the rear clamp I place too and pin into the rearmost drilled hole, so should stay put ok now. Hopefully useful info for others in future

It may be a moulding but it looks as if transit plugs sre still in place on AntStark's battery

No I removed them immediately! as per instructions ..the plugs were red.
