Which 3rd world country did I visit (state of roads)

I have only very recently realised that there's half a car on this road sign. Before, when ever I saw the sign I thought it was a hammer hitting the ground and making chippings!=))

It's all got to do with the brain - right side - left side - where's the hammer - where's the half car? :banghead::banghead:

I guess all these years I've been thinking too far outside of the box, and not far enough outside of the triangle! =))

Ooh @Dino D what have you started, we will be getting onto that thing Kent has about hedges to ALL roads that are not motorways....

Don't go there, between the hedges practically in the road, potholes, these chipping and dawdlers not may places to just have a nice drive!

What's the slowest thing in the world? A convoy of 20 zeds hitting a new section of stone chippings mid convoy... This was back in 2011...

That must have been something, lucky you didn't have a nutter can fly by on the opposite side showering those Z's..

Did you know: Chris Eubank has just written a book about Ethics. If it goes well, he's going to write one about Kent!

I found a few empty roads today off the A20...only problem is that there was almost as much green stuff growing up the middle as down each side... still I do a wickedly good line in reversing for passing places. All the stone fly in the opposite direction

The road from Leeds to Canterbury via Charing Hill is a nice one as well as going east west at the halfway house pub roundabout in Challock. Just watch for fast bikers on sunny days.

Beeen meaning to get down Tenterden/Cranbrook way too

Yeah I agree Cross Roads Motors to Towards Canterbury one of my favourites. Everywhere seems really busy though especially at the weekend. Still we must keep trying

I'm in Bearsted, one of my favourite drives is that route, down from Bearsted to Charing, up the hill and down past Challock and Molash and Chilham. Some great bends and pleasant countryside. During the day, it's usually pretty quite so I often have no other cars in view once past Charing Hill.

I drive the A249 down to Hawkhurst or sometimes take the more scenic routes through Marden, the 249 just past Hawkhurst before you get to the A21 is a great piece of road.

Seems to be a worldwide technique for laying roads!! At least we get our windshield chips fixed for free but have to pay a deductible for cracks over 6" long!! Hard on the paint also!!! JIM
