Where's our Summer

We were supposed to get two days of rain this past couple of days but not a drip. Sunny 28c but supposed to rain tonight and tomorrow into Sunday. Good thing I'm retired so every day is a weekend if I want it to be! JIM
 
How lovely not having to think about work :p
I'm now having a quick snack before I go :(
It's quite humid here at the moment but still no sun :(
 
Unfortunately Shelly we're still driving Nik around for his job but at least there's two of us and if one needs a break the other steps in for a day or two. Only problem is when I'm off Joan has me hanging new curtains and painting window frames. She gets to go off and do her volunteer work so she actually gets a break!! lol JIM

Looks just fine over there. Here it has been wet and cold for the last 5-6 days. Was walking the dogs last night and could see my breath in the air like wintertime. Not really complaining though since it didn't really rain for about 5 weeks. We really needed it.

It stayed sunny here long enough this afternoon to get a load to the tip, Shelly. the 4tb big load so far, have decided we are never buying anything, anymore, ever again!!!! Have just found a whole load of paperwork and photos from before Kate, so over 28years ago, can't remember why we put them in the roof of the garage???

Still no exchange date yet!!!!! Grrrrr!!:mad:

I believe summers on a Wednesday this year..... Followed by Winter on the Thursday ! It can't make up its mind. British weather hey.....ggggrrrrřrr
 
Things certainly seem to be handled differently in the UK than over here Sandy! Must be so frustrating for you, all packed up and nowhere to go! Good luck hope you hear something soon! JIM

I remember you told me after retirement, you were getting a bungalow. I wasn't sure of this was just a summer house or your primary and only residence. Seems like you're making 'the move' for good? Frankie
