Difficult to see but this is the handy work of Royal Steering Wheels. Alcantara with orange stitching on the wheel, handbrake and gearstick.
Another wheel retrimmed by Royals here in my Z4 - such an improvement over the stock wheel!

Looks great, same wheel as mine too! I still have the original wheel in case it needs to go back on at some point.

Couldn't help but notice the centre console with what looks like blue carbon fibre finish. My cars centre console (black) has a scratch just to the right of the gear lever gator behind the driver side window control button. It was there on the car when I bought it, I think someone slipped with a screwdriver taking the gator out.
I'd like to do something similar to cover this fault, where did you get the carbon material from if you don't mind me asking? Also did you end up having to remove the whole console out to complete the job?

It's a royal wheel upgrade.
the Console has to be removed and stripped down to cover it, I just got some blue carbon fibre wrap from eBay, and tinted it with the scuff master estorill blue as well as it was a bit shiny.
Another Royal retrim when I changed to a post 2000 wheel.
