Is it a case of you get what you pay for? Or a set of £30 ebay jobbies do just fine?
A spacer is a piece of machined steel. It doesn't move so it can't wear out. It is held in place by being clamped between the wheel and the hub. The quality of the machining will dictate how much they will cost, but as you can't see them when they are fitted a low cost set will do the job just as well as a more expensive set.
If you have access to a CNC machine shop you can make your own very easily

Have you got your 108's on then Tony?Cheers Tony I will have them be great if you could bring them with you see you tomorrow
That is exactly what I had on my Z3 mate, and I'm using the same on my Z4 with my 108's. Having fitted the Eibach springs maybe, just maybe I would be better with 15mm on the rear but only on rough - ish roads, they do look very nice with the 20mm on the rears. The wheels are right out to the arches, which is what I like.Hi Tony yes fitted them last night got 12mm spacers on the rear and non on the front going to go for 20mm on the rear and put the 12mm on the front will get some pics up look really well.
I don't have time mate got that fella coming to clean the car. Someone already wants them also@Davyhoogy if you get them removed by tomorrow afternoon I can take them down to santa pod for @yoky z3 2.0
That's a shame mate when it looks so good. A bit strange it only happens on the nearside too, couldn't be something as daft as the arch liner out of shape maybe? Either way I'll be interested in what size you come down to.I don't have time mate got that fella coming to clean the car. Someone already wants them also
Sorry @yocky z3 2.0
