Thought I had a slow puncture on the front pax side. Took it to the garage and they said air was leaking from the inside of the rim and that the alloy could so with being refurbished. Anyone recommend a refurb place in Glasgow ?

Could just be lacquer lifting off the rim, just a matter of pushing the bead off, cleaning up the lacquer and re-sealing it. Should be easily done at any competent tyre place.
Or there again it might not be. Worth splashing some washing-up liquid or something similar about the rim.

Funnily enough the guy did that. There is quite a bit of corrosion on that side round the rim.

Sounds like an easy one, then. Unless you feel the need to have a refurb, of course, but it's a lot quicker and cheaper to get the old cr4p cleaned out and sealed up with some sticky stuff.
There's a Wheel Pro Scotland franchise in Ballieston, I used them to do my CL500 wheels and they did an excellent job.
Pay cheap, pay twice. I don't want to skimp when I have my wheels done even if I have to put the Turbines back on for a while.
