I'm having the type 78 wheels refurbished on my 2001 2.2 sport and thought that I'd change the slightly rusty wheel bolts at the same time. Now wheel bolts are a pretty critical item so I really want the black OEM bolts, including four new locking bolts.

Can anyone point me in the right direction for getting these please, fairly quickly (the wheels are being done on Monday).

You could try this company - 10.9 grade bolts supplied - not sure about black?

I'm considering black plastic cover caps. Even new bolts will soon mark.

Funnily enough I ordered a set of black caps off eBay this morning, it said free and fast delivery, about half an hour later a ring at the doorbell and the caps were delivered! Now that was fast! Turns out the guy I ordered them from live a couple of hundred metres away from me, so just wandered round in the sunshine.

A set of OEM bolts including the locking ones are £124 from BMW. I'd still like new ones if anyone has a source of OEM bolts at a reasonable price.
