Whats this for?

Stripping down the car today I found the cable.....
The wide black connector was in the glove box, and the smaller white one was not connected to anything either and with all the cables behind the radio.

Any ideas ?..

An old iPod connector by the looks, i had one in mine before an upgrade.

Thanks Andy,
Just been to have a look at all the wiring and radio, and there is nothing for the white plug to fit into....so that cable is going in the bin

I went and found an old ipod and the black connector does fit it.

There a sony radio with a usb port so I will be able to use a usb stick anyway..

Mind you, thats if I can work out where all the wires go when its time to put it back together
Some one has chopped out wires and added loads of new speaker wires.
