Whats Planned

I fully recommend retirement, I’ve been retired for ten years now however I can tell you all when you are not earning you have a lot more time to be spending! Money can disappear very quickly so you need quite a bit unless of course you just sit indoors watching TV!
Tell me about it;). This is why I do a couple of hours every afternoon. It's amazing how little money you need if you haven't got any debts.

At the moment, I'm stripping and measuring the engine to try and work out if I can improve it just by adjustment and a bit of fabrication.

Might do a Brexit Tour, as this summer might be the last chance.

Lake district run, Applecross Scottish trip, Cotswolds and Scottish two day run on the calendar so far, and some car shows and any other chance I get to make up for a bad 2017. Happy zzzzzzzzzzzding

New zed planned fancy red or orange .need a complete change from silver
My fav at mo is the marmite orange wi striped seat or the more conventional red

I can completely understand what you're saying mate, even if it has had a rather hard life ;), but I don't think I could go back to a manual car if I'm honest. Big decision mate. Parts are not cheap either.

Tony.

Think it's going to be a busy year for us.

first official outing will be Easter bank holiday weekend. Me and a friend have rented an 8 bed house just outside Nurburg for some ring time. Plenty of us going plus its worked out £30 a head per night. (still some space lookout for a thread)

Euro hoon but this one might be a smaller tour as we cant attend Pauls dates.

Scotland hoon again. I really want to go deeper into Scotland this year.

Also a trip round southern Ireland. :D

Then the non car related holidays to America & Canary islands depending on annual leave status. :D

Work and Then Work and then Work, Busy year for me, my MD is building another warehouse, 20,000 pallet capacity, due to start the ground works this month, so guess who's been assigned to project manage it,yep your truly as well as running our current warehouse, and must be up and running by the third quarter of this year, Not looking forward to this year.

You still need down time Jim, Don't knacker yourself mate:)

Like the valencia Orange Moz, especially with a black top.

So if I see an orange or red Z4 'pootling' sedately along through the Peak District in the spring I'll know who it is Moz.=))
What engine would you go for ? More power I'm assuming !
On the auto thing, I was talking to a long time BMW mechanic on the subject, and he said that the problem is people following the BMW service schedule. He said people who change the oil in their BMW autos more regularly didn't get the problems.

The only thing planned so far is a trip over to the house in Spain in the zed. Never taken the zed before because we take loads of stuff including my bike as we stay for quite a while. So this time it's minimal luggage and I hope it's not too hot for the top down, I'll get the aircon done before we go though.

Jue has instigated it mate, she wants me to slow down a bit. I didn't need telling twice! Really excited about it all, never done a house up so really looking forward to that. Got a good feeling about 2018! :)

Just be careful Grumps my wife has me paint the stair and landing three !”@:)£&-5” times because she did not like the colour she chose might drive one of you into the grave:whistle: For this year the wife wants me home she thinks I’m having to much of a great time in the Isle of Man been here for 2.5 years doesn’t time fly when your having fun but love it over here so laid back. I’ve tried to entice the wife over here but she has earned her self a nice full time job with the police and had her first grand child last year I have no chance

As for me I have a very neglected ///M that needing much tlc. I have ready funds for new roof, newly painted rear and front wings and bonnet in storage plus lots of other parts I’ve been collecting to revamp the cooliing and suspension running gear just some sills to add and nearly saved enough for the wheel referb as well. I’m going to carry on with agency for now but where in the uk I don’t know but at least drivable home. My wife wants to go to Germany to see some of her family Easter so that sounds like a possible road trip and she wants a holiday and I’ve got to re woo her as well looks like I’m going to be busy but can’t wait for the little one to be able to wield a tooth brush so I can click her underneath the ///M to help Grumps cleaning ( sry Grumps not the only one with the label)

Well the first part of our big plans for this year have to been put into force. Jack and the D-I-L have just reserved their first home which they hope to move into by the end of March. We can then get ours put on the market and start looking for our mortgage free home. :)
