Well the new year is soon to be upon us and it got me thinking of what holidays and days out people have got penned into there diaries for next so far.
I will kick it off
We are hoping to do more days out in the Zed at the weekends now we only use it as a weekend toy (spends more time under cover than on the road)
Long weekend to Scotland (still to be arranged)
May arrange a cruise around the peaks or North Yorkshire (Still debating)
Might surprise the daughter and family if they plan a week down Devon again
Holiday to Cyprus (sadly no zed)
Our usual Euro Trip with Mozz and his good lady going through the Pyrenees to Spain.
Looking at getting the seats professionally refurbed
So what has everyone else got planned or are hoping to plan

We have big plans for the coming year.
We are putting the house on the market and buying a doer upper, once completed i'm Hoping to drop down to a 4 day week as we won't have a mortgage anymore. Really excited about it, in turn, no mortgage, more pennies, more zedding! :D

Thats a great plan Dave. I would love to drop to a 5 day week but i like money too much lol

I am in the process of Re mortgaging myself and i am doing an end of term Mortgage for 5 years costing a lot more but means i will be free when i am 62 and can then maybe look to retire

Jue has instigated it mate, she wants me to slow down a bit. I didn't need telling twice! Really excited about it all, never done a house up so really looking forward to that. Got a good feeling about 2018! :)

I'll be 46 when the mortgage goes next year. I plan to at retire at 60. Don't get me wrong it won't be easy but I refuse to work any longer. I want my life back and this is going to be the start of doing just that.

I fully recommend retirement, I’ve been retired for ten years now however I can tell you all when you are not earning you have a lot more time to be spending! Money can disappear very quickly so you need quite a bit unless of course you just sit indoors watching TV!

Good eating fish that!
Shame I don't see it on the menu very often here in Cheltenham

It's a bit early days yet but starting with Silverstone in March, April there is the New forest, the Lakes and Shropshire mini cruise. Limborit in June, Vanity BMW, Silverstone and Help 4 heros in July. Lincolnshire and new forest in September. I also want to fit in a Scottish trip but nothing settled yet.
We will see what else turns up. It is hard work being retired.
